Recently, Marinair finalized the sea transport of a stone-built Orthodox church from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Sydney, Australia, carefully loaded and secured in a 1×20’ Flat Rack container.
The project required extensive technical preparation and close coordination among multiple teams to ensure a safe and fully compliant move for such a unique and delicate cargo.
Our scope of work included:
The cargo consisted of stone dome and structural sections of a small Orthodox church — sensitive architectural elements that required meticulous balance, protection, and technical precision during loading and securing.
Handling such a special consignment reminds us that in logistics, no two shipments are the same — and every special cargo requires special care.
At Marinair, we take pride in combining technical expertise, reliability, and personal commitment, ensuring that every project — no matter how complex — reaches its destination safely and efficiently.
